Service Plumber

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Service Plumber to join our team. The Service Plumber will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and/or commercial plumbing systems while providing professional, courteous service to customers. 

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and customer service. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and piping. 

• Perform plumbing installations, replacements, and maintenance. 

• Troubleshoot plumbing systems and determine appropriate repair solutions. 

• Respond to service calls and communicate professionally with customers. 

• Explain plumbing problems, repair options, and recommendations clearly to customers. 

• Prepare accurate estimates and document completed work. 

• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment. 

• Follow all applicable plumbing codes, company policies, and safety procedures. 

• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

• Complete required paperwork, service reports, and job documentation. 

• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. 

Qualifications 

• Previous experience as a plumber or service plumber preferred. 

• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems. 

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve plumbing problems independently. 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 

• Ability to safely lift equipment and materials and perform physical work. 

• Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills. 

• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple service calls. 

• Plumbing license or applicable certifications preferred, depending on local requirements.
